Okay. I'm going to do my best to overlook the sexuality of this for a minute and give a photographer's critique. I realize this is self-shot so I won't go too hard on the composition part...it's not easy composing a picture then posing in it. But you might want to adjust the angle so that the camera isn't looking at so many corners around you. Limit it to one, if you can. Probably could leave out the closet. Nothing in particular wrong with it, but it's ore complex for the eye than the rest of the background. Or, just take a shot with JUST the closet opened behind you. No, really. If it's in some decent orderly state, it gives us an idea of all the clothes we COULD see you in. The chair is fine for the shot and again, I know this is self-shot so getting posed is a difficult task, but you are kind of scrunched up to the back of the chair a bit much. This has two unfortunate effects. First, it bends your upper body so that we don't really get a sense of your torso's proportions (other than that magnificent cleavage of yours...but I was trying to ignore your burning sexuality...) Secondly, it shortens up your legs a bit. Since we can't see your left foot, try to lift it up on tiptoe. That'll get your left leg off the chair itself and give it some definition. The lighting for this kind of shot is fine. Nice and bright but not washed out, gives good color (you have a great camera there...coming from a Canon man myself! Wait, don't freak, we get the picture's data when we look at pictures. lol) Did I mention that you are VERY sexy, know how to look it, and you look awesome in those boots? I'm a boot guy so you know...kind of biased. lol Very sexy picture, for a self-shot. Thanks, makes my night!
wow thanks so much on all the insight! I agree with what you said 100% I didn't mean to get the closet in the background then I was tired of trying to get a better shot. I'm still starting out so I'm not very good doing self portraits yet haha. thanks for the critique very fair!
